We are seeking to recruit a EHS Engineer, Warehouse Department
Your Role: EHS Officer
Contract status: Full-Time
Department: Warehouse Department
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Work Modes : Offline,Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
1.Establish, implement, and continuously improve the company’s EHS management system to ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local regulations.Lead internal audits, management reviews, and external certifications to maintain system effectiveness.
2.Oversee safety production activities for the warehouse and packaging departments, including ledger management and enforcement of safety regulations.Conduct daily safety inspections, hazard investigations, and track rectification processes. Issue penalties for violations and report monthly to cost departments.Monitor special equipment (e.g., cranes, pressure vessels), hazardous chemicals, and fire safety facilities to ensure compliance
3.Review procurement plans for safety gear, emergency supplies, and civilized construction materials. Supervise distribution and proper usage through the general office.
4.Verify certifications for special operations (e.g., electrical work, welding, confined spaces) and supervise high-risk activities like temporary electricity usage and hot work.Develop risk control and monitoring plans for key hazard sources.
5.Pre-qualify subcontractors by reviewing safety permits, personnel certificates, and labor contracts. Enforce safety requirements during operations and impose penalties for non-compliance.
6.Organize safety training (orientation, specialized, refresher) and emergency drills (fire, evacuation). Develop and optimize emergency response plans
7.Maintain fire safety systems, conduct regular inspections, and ensure clear emergency evacuation routes.Implement occupational health monitoring (e.g., noise, dust, chemical exposure) and manage employee health records
8.Perform regular site safety risk assessments and trend analysis. Use data (e.g., incident rates,rectification completion) to drive improvements and report to management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1.Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
2.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations (Work Safety Law, Environmental Protection Law, Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law), ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, and local government policies.
3.Skills: Strong communication, coordination, team leadership, and emergency response abilities. Risk management and systematic safety management capabilities.
4.Certifications: Registered Safety Engineer certification is highly preferred. Other EHS-related certificates (e.g., ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
5.Experience: Over 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or heavy industry.
6.Language: Proficiency in English is required for communication and reporting.
