Also aluminum alloys with magnesium containing > 3% Mg, such as AlMg3, AlMg4, AlMg5, AlMg6 with similar materials. It is used for welding various metal structures and profiles, in shipbuilding and automotive engineering. When there is a requirement for the aesthetics of anodizing, taking into account loads and an aggressive external environment. Applications: Automotive industry (body parts) Chemical equipment Architectural structures (railings, facades) Manufacture of sports equipment Shipbuilding (hulls, deck structures) Recommendations: Protective gas: high-purity argon (99.99%) or helium-argon mixtures Preliminary cleaning of surfaces is mandatory Post-weld annealing is recommended for critical structures
