Also for welding products from cast aluminum alloys (Al-Si, Al-Si-Mg, Al-Si-Cu), with a maximum silicon content of up to 7%, including grades such as AD31, AD33, AD35. Applications: Repair of cast parts (cylinder blocks, housings) Production of heat exchangers Welding of thin-walled structures Production of decorative elements Repair of automotive components Recommendations: Not recommended for anodized structures (the weld darkens) Limited applicability for alloys with Mg content >3% Requires thorough pre-weld cleaning Protective gas: high-purity argon (99.99%)
