Description:

SOLARIS welding rod is used for manual argon-arc TIG welding, in an argon (Ar) environment, as well as Ar + O2 (2 - 3%) or Ar + CO2 (2-3%) mixtures. For welding austenitic stainless steels with a chromium content of ~ 18% and nickel ~ 8%. Applicable to steel AiSi 304 (L), 321, 347. And also to steel series 300: AlSi 301, 302, 304, 304L, 308, 308L. Applications: Food industry (welding of tanks, pipelines, boilers). Decorative and architectural structures (railings, facades, design elements). Chemical and petrochemical engineering (production of heat exchangers, equipment for nitric acid). Power engineering (manufacture of boilers and steam pipelines). Recommendations: Not suitable for steels with high molybdenum content (e.g. AlSl 316)
